Consciousness in Business

Taking action in the cards. My creative approach to some business brilliance. What does the tarot have to do with business? How can the tarot help? When we get stuck what do we do? We find a new way, a different thought to follow. The right perspective can clear things. I am talking about a practical approach, a platform. It’s fun and creative, and totally powerful.

Years ago I had a tarot reading where the only card i remembered was the Tower, and the reader said, “There is something that needs your attention and if you don’t take care of it, the universe will and it may not be worth anything after that.” I knew in that moment she was talking about my house in Indiana, and I was living in NYC, the house was starting to need attention. If left unattended much longer it would deteriorate. I got in motion, and some amazing things lined up, and in about a weeks time I had a buyer and was in process to sell it.

This is the way I am referencing tarot- it’s a pointer. Beyond that, I am introducing a business model. I am providing a creative launch pad, a fast track to business success for creatives who struggle making the profits they deserve. The calls in the What would life be like if you saw things from another perspective? is a series wholeheartedly designed to put you in business powerfully and profitably where you can express yourself by sharing your gifts with the world.

powerful aspect; your presentation of self

I rarely write about astrological aspects outside of the somewhat challenging mercury retrograde. This is a heads up and worth sharing. Venus is going retrograde on May 15th and will stay in that position until June 27th. That’s a nice chunk of time. This has so much to do with presenting oneself powerfully and authentically in the world, and when it’s retrograde one is advised against personal makeovers, adornments, even a hair cut as it may not be what you want. Big heads up to any image consultants and stylists out there. If you can wait until after June all the better.

The process!!! Can you relate?

Here it is November 4, 2011. The date seems important as somewhere in my mind I had the date of Nov 1st as the launch for  my kickstarter campaign. I am not there yet! I am still focusing, refining, getting clarity, and am in awe at how long anything and everything especially of value seems to take! I know better, since I used to redesign people’s homes and businesses and I was always the voice of reason regarding timeline and the client usually wasn’t. I knew it would take 2 -3 times as long as they did. I was right, which is why I was directing the job. Now it’s my own gig, and I need a team. I have my right hand creative, Funky kitty, who is already doing much much more one person probably should. The other players I seem to be finding on-line. So I will continue to write and clarify this project, The Yoga of the ARcana. By writing as I go, I am narrowing the gap between idea and launch or execution. That distance always seemed so huge and has dissuaded me before. Now I am committed to the living in it, or else I am being a fraud to my own work. This is my life, it doesn’t start at another point. I am acknowledging 2 helpful players today, Maggie Ostara and specifically her seminar which I watched yesterday thanks to a link from Suzanne Evans’ Be the Change award interviews last week, and Jennifer Fox, whose movie and kickstarter process, MyReincarnation has my attention today.  Check it all out!

turn basement flooding into a spa!

In the midst of all the rain, the extent of the difficulty here at this house is the basement flooding. Quite fortunate indeed. As Lulu and I sweep the water towards the sump pump I’ve been sprinkling essential oils. Last flood lavender, this one peppermint and frankincense. It smells so good and really raises the energy…Going with the flow the best we know.

2012 What is important here

Having had a strong connection to Mexico, the Spanish language and anything Mayan since I started speaking Spanish as a teen, I write this from what I have come to find is the Truth regarding the Mayan Calender and very importantly 2012. Basically, our Solar System has been moving in and out of a photon belt of high frequency since it’s inception. 2012 marks the time when we will  be residing in this belt, just about entirely. Most of us can relate to how strong the shadow has been and how accelerated our lessons and earth situations seem to be as we get closer and closer to being in a higher frequency. Whatever lessons we are being influenced by, are demanding to be dealt with. How and what and why are very specific to each incarnate, and the clearer one is the greater amount of energy is available. Resistance is shadow. Personal responsibility, the ability to respond without blame to any situation, not react, but ACT from a connected centered place is your key. As one intense and devastating planetary event after another takes place it is vital to stay in a higher ground both physically and spiritually.

A Beautiful Locust Tree

I must honor this tree somewhere, somehow today. It is sweltering hot, and a crew of men are cutting down a magnificent tree which has been a great source of shade, beauty and nourishment in a neighboring yard. I have stared at it with it’s irregular, craggy, and Japanese like lines for a year now in awe really. In the spring it had fragrant flowers that would blow all over the yard and blanket my garden. The birds have gathered in it in mass. Today it’s changing form. I don’t know why they are doing it, perhaps it’s become a nuisance to them, because it wasn’t dead. It was very much alive and they are fighting to take it down.  I am attached to it and struggling to let it go. Maybe they will give up, and the tree will win win it’s fight for living. Wow what a huge thing it is and whatever lesson it is teaching me is not yet totally revealed, The birds will have to help me. I guess they will just adjust themselves and forget.
