Earth Day is really Human Being Day
I was walking through Grand Central Station w/ Lulu and it must have been “earth day”, or “earth week” and there was a real simple exhibit with people organizing “earth type” events and a disheveled man was intensely telling his body practitioners how to do the hard sell so people would come in to the stall. We kept walking and browsing and I glimpsed this “earth day” in it’s fancy outward expressions. It’s really human being on the earth day isn’t it? It’s a cry to save us and our life on this earth either as we know it or could know it to be or have known it. It’s a cry to stop corrupting what we come in contact with. The earth will always take care of herself…doesn’t she? She is expanding and contracting with what is. Either you tread wakefully on her or you don’t. She’s the real teacher.
Force/Strength XI
Deeply feeling your aliveness, your libido, the animal forces and materializing them. 11 is a master number. The is the beginning of your connection to being awake, to being whole. The first step toward healing is forgiveness, or another way of being with the term forgiveness is accepting things as they are. This opens the world, and when we are open we are alive. Like the Fool who is innocence, and in the moment experiencing everything now not based on skepticism or past experiences. Unity is force, inner conflict makes us weak. Serving several masters at once. Look again at the ii, togetherness. Recognizing the duality, but living, experiencing & honoring union. There is only one. Force or Strength is the link between idea and phenomenon. When you are with someone leaving their body, speak on the exhale and they can hear you. Force is not tension although it may be tense. It is strength; elan. Tension which appears like stress is ill placed. Creates disease. Recognize at your core wholeness and do your work. Go from the 2 to 1 and end your separation. Using pure radiating force to slay the jabberwocky, and be free.
movie musts
A Matter of LIfe and Death, by Michael Powell & Emric Pressburger (“The Archers”) What a hip movie, from 1946. Highly entertaining, a vacillating style. Cool close-ups. A little schizophrenic. Has me thinking about what we can not see, and if their version is at all accurate, I feel more relaxed. David Niven, Kim Hunter & Richard Livesey are all great…the whole production is.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Directed by Julian Schnabel, based on true story about Jean-Do, done completely in French and in France giving the story great justice. Loved it, loved it, loved it.
My new favorite movie is The Fantastic Mr Fox, directed by Wes Anderson, screenplay based on a story by Roald Dahl, and starring George Clooney as Mr Fox, with many many others. It’s a perfect film! So so funny.
Seven Pounds is a beautiful experience. I recommend it with all my heart. This is inspired poetry on film, with outrageous performances and exquisite film making. Italian director, starring Will Smith…got to love him.
Wheel of Fortune X
The end of a cycle. The wheel of fortune will help us pass on to another dimension. What follows after completion, the 9? 10 is perfection. A new regime, breakthrough. King Solomon had a vision and what he said after regarding prosperity is this, there is nothing better for a man that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. Rejoice! The wheel is hopelessly symbolic. It is up to us to make breakthroughs from the endless cycle of events and situations. It all starts in the mind and will end in the mind, unless aha moments occur. Rejoice! Walk in the ways of your heart. With the sphinx atop the wheel, the integration of man is at hand. The morphology of the lion, eagle, man and ox. Integration is crucial at this point in the tarot. Finally, come what may and take to heart that the vanities of youth only bring suffering.
Hermit IX
The Hermit represents a deep connection with yourself. To go through a crisis and raise the lamp, that is to say find your inner light. The Hermit is movement, and finds other like minds to accompany. This is the creative force, the godself, not willing to destroy any longer. Completion is at hand.
Adjustment or Justice VIII
Justice, getting what you deserve. What might this mean exactly? This is balance, or law between the free action of an individual will and the essence of being. When a human being acts from his or her own free will, and that which governs over all reacts to this action through the visible and invisible then we have law. The universal law which is governing us whether we admit to it or not. Watch a flock of crows and you will see law. The double 4 of stability. Of finally giving over to the divine will. Vertical alignment. Can divine will be another term for universal law? The governing force of karma. Understand cause and effect and a great understanding of life is assured.
The Chariot VII
The Chariot, the combination of stillness and movement. Action in the world, complete action in the world. In the Tarot of Marseilles there are two horses and one is blue while the other is red. This is blood in and out. The vascular system, the breathing, in and out. Not busying, moving. Movement which is natural comes from stillness. The kind of movement the river knows. Not the movement of humanity. The understanding that Buddha taught of the middle way. The in between state that watches without attachment. The stillness is first. Go there and be guided.

The Lovers VI
The Lovers or The Lover. Ahhh… to finally do what you enjoy. To establish yourself in the world. It’s most important what comes out of ones mouth than what one puts into it. The struggle of existence. RE Lating. Connecting. The Dual world. Finding no opponent. Can we master the duality of the existence and be as one? Better yet can we glimpse the ultimate nature of reality where duality is not. This journey of relating, understanding where Eden may truly be and how grace runs in the veins of our lives.
